Key Responsibilities

* Lead the daily operations of the AAB Safe house, ensuring seamless management of maintenance, supplies, and logistics to create a secure and welcoming environment for residents. * Drive staff management excellence by assisting in staff supervision, preparing monthly duty rosters, and monitoring shifts to ensure 24/7 operation of the Safe house. * Provide empathetic support during emergencies and critical situations, adhering to the guidance of the Safe house Coordinator. * Architect efficient registration and discharge processes, maintaining accurate case files, documentation, and a functional client feedback mechanism to ensure resident satisfaction. * Design and facilitate daily activities for residents, taking into account their age, gender, and cultural sensitivities to promote inclusivity and diversity. * Manage food supplies, stock management, and consumption records to ensure timely and efficient provision of essential services. * Collaborate with the procurement team to acquire necessary items for the Safe house, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement processes. * Develop and maintain accurate inventory and asset trackers, updating them monthly in coordination with the Safe house Coordinator. * Support the creation and implementation of individual client care plans, organizing regular client meetings, and keeping the team informed to ensure comprehensive care. * Work closely with the Associate Officer – Safe house Coordination to address the physical and mental needs of residents, promoting a holistic approach to care. * Foster open communication and adherence to AAB building procedures and policies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all residents. * Embed Feminist Leadership Principles and Anti-Racism practices across all Safe house activities, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect. * Supervise and monitor the activities of Safe house support staff, including cooks, cleaners, drivers, and security guards, to ensure high-quality service delivery. * Develop capacity-building plans for supervisees and facilitate relevant training sessions to enhance staff capabilities and performance. * Create monthly work plans and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement to drive continuous improvement and excellence in Safe house operations.

Education

Additional Requirements

  • Only Female
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the sector of providing care or service to patient/resident
  • Experience in admin, management (Safe House/hotel/hospital)
  • Prior experience in GBV protection during protracted crises or early recovery
  • Experience working in Rohingya camps
