Key Responsibilities
* Drive financial management by maintaining and updating all accounting records, including petty cash, cheque issue registers, and movement registers, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Record daily financial transactions in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and Bangladesh Standard of Accounting (BSA), ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
* Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to revise financial budgets as needed, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
* Facilitate seamless program implementation by ensuring timely availability of funds for program activities, in accordance with project guidelines and work plans.
* Champion compliance with NSS's financial policies, procedures, and government regulations, including VAT and tax requirements, to minimize risk and ensure transparency.
* Oversee accurate VAT and tax deductions, depositing payments to the government treasury on a weekly basis, and maintaining up-to-date records.
* Mitigate financial risk by implementing robust internal controls and financial systems, reducing audit risk ratings and ensuring accountability.
* Educate program teams on financial protocols and documentation, promoting best practices and adherence to project requirements.
* Coordinate logistics, including food, materials, and supplies, to ensure timely availability for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and other events.
* Develop and manage agreements with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders, as needed, to support project implementation.
* Ensure 100% compliance with NSS's Procurement Policy and donor guidelines, providing support to the procurement committee to complete procurements efficiently and transparently.

Education
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting
- Master Degree in Accounting / MBA (Major in Accounting)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience in accounts and admin or financial management in foreign donor funded development projects
- Excellent knowledge and skills in accounting principles, record keeping and financial reporting
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to speak and write reports in English
- Ready to accept the challenge and ability to work under stressful situation
- Gender and child sensitive
- Excellent commitment and dedication towards the job
- High level IT skill specially MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint Presentation, Accounting (Tally ERP), HR, MIS Software and Microsoft-365
