Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, comprehensive emergency and primary healthcare services, ensuring adherence to the minimum service package standard and providing exceptional patient care.
* Lead clinical care and patient management, conducting thorough consultations, examinations, and treatments, and prescribing evidence-based interventions.
* Drive emergency response efforts, providing critical care and stabilization to patients, managing medical, pediatric, neonatal, and obstetric emergencies, and facilitating timely referrals.
* Architect quality oversight frameworks, ensuring that all healthcare services are aligned with clinical protocols, guidelines, and standard methodologies.
* Implement and monitor Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) protocols, ensuring that all relevant staff adhere to established guidelines and procedures.
* Develop and maintain effective triage mechanisms, registration processes, and MUAC screening protocols, and perform specialized procedures such as ultrasound scans and implant insertions as needed.
* Foster patient-centered communication, educating patients and their families about illnesses, treatments, and health promotion strategies, and ensuring that they understand their care plans.
* Manage patient follow-up, conducting regular visits, consultations, and examinations, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Champion safety, infection prevention, and control (IPC), and confidentiality, ensuring that all medical protocols are followed, and that patients' rights and confidentiality are respected.
* Oversee resource management, ensuring the rational distribution of medicines and equipment, maintaining high standards of medical material quality, disinfection, and sterilization, and promoting a culture of compliance with hygiene standards.
* Uphold ethical standards, maintaining professional confidentiality, respecting patient autonomy, and ensuring that all healthcare services are delivered with dignity and respect.

Education
- Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
- M.B.B.S degree from recognized medical college
Additional Requirements
- Experience working in a multicultural, low-resource setting
- Exposure to working with local partners and providing/attending training in NGOs
- Willing to work in a Health Post in a camp setting
- District level hospital work experience
- English: (essential) mission working language
- Chittagonian dialect: (desirable) local language
- Ability to manage critically ill patients
- Excellent knowledge of antibiotic stewardship
- Well defined knowledge of Infection prevention & control
- Prior emergency experience or experience working in the Emergency Department/ICU/ITU desirable
