Azure Cloud Engineer / DevOps & IaC Specialist

* Architect and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud environments, aligning with the enterprise Cloud Operating Model to drive scalability and efficiency. * Lead the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones, adhering to Microsoft best practices and governance standards to ensure seamless integration. * Develop and maintain modular Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, focusing on reusability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards. * Drive the development, refactoring, and maintenance of Terraform modules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and enterprise guidelines. * Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, leveraging advanced workflow automation to streamline processes. * Enforce policy-as-code, linting, validation, and drift detection within CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality code and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Ensure the quality and reliability of Terraform code through rigorous unit and integration testing, maintaining high standards of code quality and compliance. * Design and implement secure secret management practices across CI/CD and cloud environments, protecting sensitive information and preventing unauthorized access. * Develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks, including tagging, naming conventions, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to maintain control and visibility. * Manage and integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within Azure environments, ensuring secure access and authentication. * Create and maintain automation frameworks and reusable templates for cloud provisioning and operations, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort. * Design, implement, and maintain complex cross-subscription and multi-environment cloud architectures, ensuring scalability and flexibility. * Build and optimize Azure networking, security, and identity components, focusing on performance, security, and compliance. * Implement and maintain Azure Policy and compliance frameworks, achieving high levels of governance compliance (>95%) and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), runbooks, and system diagrams, to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration. * Foster a culture of DevOps excellence, promoting best practices such as version control, branching strategies, and code reviews to ensure high-quality code and collaboration. * Contribute to the implementation of cloud security measures, aligned with Azure security standards and industry best practices, to protect cloud environments and data. * Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement, to ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities. * Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure and automation issues, resolving problems efficiently and effectively. * Enable knowledge transfer and technical coaching through pair programming, workshops, and documentation, developing the skills and expertise of team members.
