Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead a high-performing team of SOC analysts, cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation to drive exceptional results.
* Architect and implement robust SOC policies, procedures, and best practices that align with industry standards and emerging threats.
* Drive threat analysis and incident response efforts, prioritizing and escalating security alerts to ensure timely and effective mitigation.
* Oversee incident investigation and remediation, ensuring adherence to established protocols and minimizing risk.
* Optimize SOC technology infrastructure, leveraging expertise to maximize performance, efficiency, and scalability.
* Continuously assess and refine SOC processes, implementing improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall security posture.
* Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, identifying areas for improvement and informing strategic security initiatives.
* Design, deploy, and manage advanced security controls and architectures, staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
* Lead incident response efforts, developing and executing strategies that minimize impact and ensure swift recovery.
* Stay at the forefront of cyber security trends and threats, applying expertise to inform strategic decision-making and protect client interests.
* Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of security awareness and collaboration.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Master of Science (MSc)
- Masters in Computer Application (MCA)
- Master of Information & Communication Technology (MICT)
- Masters in Information Systems Security (MISS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center
- Proven experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a talented team independently with minimum guidance from top management
