Medical Officer (Gynae & Obs - Ultrasonography)

• Lead obstetric and gynecological ultrasonography scans, handling both routine and emergency procedures with precision and care. • Drive the delivery of high-quality ultrasound services, including early pregnancy, anomaly, growth, and pelvic scans that inform patient care. • Architect accurate and timely ultrasound reports, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams and stakeholders. • Manage fetal monitoring, tracking growth, position, placenta, and amniotic fluid levels to identify potential issues and inform treatment plans. • Identify and escalate complex cases to senior consultants, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and specialized care. • Deliver empathetic patient counseling, providing clear explanations of scan findings, treatment options, and follow-up care recommendations. • Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records, adhering to strict data management and confidentiality standards. • Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and calibration of ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety. • Respond to emergency situations, such as ectopic pregnancies and bleeding cases, with urgency and expertise, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver critical care. • Foster collaborative relationships with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, driving a cohesive and patient-centered approach to care.
