Medical Officer - MICU & Emergency Department

* Drive high-quality patient care in the MICU by rapidly assessing, diagnosing, and managing critically ill patients with evidence-based interventions. * Optimize patient stability by expertly supervising and adjusting life-support equipment, such as ventilators and infusion pumps. * Lead interdisciplinary collaborations with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patient needs. * Manage accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and maintaining detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. * Respond swiftly and effectively in medical emergencies, performing procedures like intubation and central line insertion, and upholding ICU protocols and patient safety standards. * Architect timely and effective patient evaluations in the Emergency Department, prioritizing cases by severity and initiating prompt management. * Diagnose and stabilize acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions, ensuring seamless transitions to admission, referral, or discharge. * Perform emergency procedures, including suturing, wound care, and resuscitation, in accordance with clinical protocols and patient safety guidelines. * Foster collaborative relationships with consultants, specialists, and other departments to ensure cohesive patient care, timely referrals, and appropriate admissions or transfers. * Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of patient history, treatment, and outcomes, adhering to hospital policies, legal requirements, and patient safety standards.
