Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development and maintenance of periodic MIS reports to inform Management's strategic decisions, leveraging financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Architect company-wide financial reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and enabling data-driven decision-making. * Lead the design and delivery of customized financial reports and dashboards, tailored to Management's specific needs and requirements. * Manage the bookkeeping process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, and maintaining up-to-date general ledgers, journals, vouchers, and supporting documents. * Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements, receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. * Champion financial control and compliance, ensuring adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements, and providing support during internal and external audit processes. * Develop and implement robust budgeting and cost monitoring frameworks, assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and tracking budget versus actual performance to identify areas for improvement. * Drive cost control and financial planning initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Management to optimize financial performance. * Spearhead the automation and enhancement of MIS and accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data in ERP/accounting systems, and collaborating with internal teams to improve reporting efficiency and data integrity.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Additional Requirements

  • Only Male
  • Partly-qualified CA / ACCA will be considered an advantage
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
