* Drive patient assessments and admissions, conducting thorough history taking, physical examinations, and documentation within 24 hours. * Architect personalized treatment plans, ordering and authorizing investigations, and ensuring timely execution of primary consultant directives. * Lead daily ward rounds, evaluating surgical patients, and implementing consultant-recommended treatments, with regular review and adjustment of management plans as needed. * Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, including case sheets, progress notes, and JCI documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital standards. * Deliver high-quality patient care, verifying medication dosages, frequencies, and administration routes, while exercising caution and adhering to safety protocols. * Proactively monitor patient progress, responding to medical and surgical emergencies, and initiating corrective actions when necessary. * Develop and communicate discharge summaries, educating patients on post-discharge medications and care instructions. * Champion a culture of safety, adhering to hospital practices, and promoting a secure environment for patients and staff. * Engage in clinical meetings, workshops, and paper presentations, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and best practices. * Pursue ongoing education and training, participating in hospital programs, and driving personal skill development. * Contribute to departmental teaching initiatives, sharing expertise, and guiding Residents to enhance their skills and knowledge. * Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives, overseeing Resident activities, and promoting excellence in patient care and hospital operations.
