Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the management and support of Interactive Popular Theater (IPT) groups at the Upazila level, driving the dissemination of key Social and Behavior Change (SBC) messages, including Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCAH). * Architect high-quality theatre performances by developing scripts, forming groups, and incorporating MNCAH and adolescent rights issues, ensuring engaging and informative content. * Facilitate IPT workshops, producing dramas and interactive popular theatre that meet project needs and objectives, and drive community engagement. * Integrate community feedback into IPT content, adapting scripts and performances to reflect local needs, cultural context, and priority health and social issues, ensuring relevance and impact. * Provide technical leadership and support to IPT groups, ensuring effective implementation of performances and dissemination of SBC key messages in targeted areas. * Develop the capacity of IPT performers through regular coaching, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations, driving effective message delivery and audience engagement. * Foster strong relationships with government sectors, local government institutions, NGOs, religious leaders, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination. * Collaborate with key stakeholders, including UNICEF focal persons, line departments, and Upazila administration, to ensure seamless implementation of IPT shows. * Compile and submit regular reports, tracking progress and outcomes, and ensuring timely submission and alignment with project goals. * Manage IPT groups within budgetary frameworks, monitoring expenses, and communicating deviations to ensure fiscal responsibility. * Represent the SBC team in various meetings, workshops, and seminars, promoting project goals and objectives. * Conduct regular field visits, providing technical support, and ensuring high-quality implementation of interventions. * Develop and document case studies, success stories, and lessons learned, highlighting key project outcomes and impact. * Coordinate and participate in national and international day observances, promoting SBC project goals and objectives. * Support Upazila coordinators in arranging community events, driving engagement and participation. * Assist in budget monitoring, inventory management, and procurement of necessary equipment, ensuring efficient resource allocation. * Develop and implement IPT scripts on key topics, including MNCAH, EPI, VAC, child marriage, emergency preparedness, and climate change. * Provide practical training and rehearsal to peer leader groups on IPT shows and dramas, building capacity and confidence. * Monitor and supervise IPT peer leader teams, ensuring high-quality performances and driving continuous improvement.

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors

Additional

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge on MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • Practicing child protection, gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
  • Having android mobile set & capable to operate
  • Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
  • Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
