Finance Coordinator

* Drive financial management of the project, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial transactions and reporting. * Architect financial plans and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager, aligning with project goals and donor requirements. * Lead grant compliance efforts, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining accurate records for audits, while ensuring adherence to donor requirements and grant agreements. * Develop and enforce financial controls, policies, and procedures, conducting regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimize cash flow management. * Manage cash flow, forecasting needs, and coordinating timely disbursements to ensure adequate funds for project activities. * Oversee payment management, ensuring timely payment of staff salaries, vendor bills, and other financial obligations, while managing VAT and tax deductions, and providing salary certificates and tax documents to staff. * Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to management, donors, and relevant authorities, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. * Coordinate external audits, addressing findings, and implementing corrective actions, while collaborating with audit firms and the finance department of the head office. * Collaborate with program teams to prepare monthly, quarterly, and final narrative reports, ensuring the use of appropriate financial tools and processes at all stages. * Mitigate financial risks, identifying areas of vulnerability, and developing strategies to minimize potential risks and ensure the financial sustainability of the project.
