Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Accountant who has hands-on experience or understanding of Customs Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) operations in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining accurate accounting reports, and coordinating with clients for payment collection. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance:• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions • Prepare and present monthly debit and credit reports • Track all company expenses and ensure proper documentation • Manage accounts payable and receivable • Prepare financial summaries and reports using Excel • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policiesC&F Operations:• Demonstrate practical understanding of Customs Clearing & Forwarding procedures in Bangladesh • Coordinate with ports, customs agents, and relevant stakeholders for shipment processing • Ensure proper documentation for import/export activitiesClient Management:• Visit clients when necessary to collect payments • Maintain professional relationships with clients • Follow up on outstanding payments in a timely manner
